These terms govern your use of the website operated by The Builders Brief UK(trading as "The Builder's Brief UK") and any digital products purchased from it. By using the site or buying a download, you agree to these terms.

Digital products and licence

All packs are digital downloads. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the files for personal, non-commercial use by the purchasing household. You may print, fill in and use them on your own project. You may not resell, redistribute, republish or sub-license them.

Acceptable use and prohibited conduct

You agree not to misuse the site or the downloads. In particular you must not: use the service for any unlawful purpose; commit fraud, send spam or impersonate others; infringe our or any third party's intellectual property; attempt to gain unauthorised access, probe, scrape or interfere with the security of the site; upload malware; or share, resell or redistribute the downloads.

Pricing, payment and Merchant of Record

Prices are shown in pounds sterling. Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com Market Ltd ("Paddle"). Paddle is the Merchant of Record for all our orders and is responsible for handling payment, billing, sales tax, invoicing, subscription management, cancellations and returns. By placing an order you also agree to Paddle's Buyer Terms at https://www.paddle.com/legal/checkout-buyer-terms. For order or refund enquiries you can contact Paddle via paddle.net.

Refunds

If you experience a technical issue accessing your files, please contact us within 14 days of purchase and we will put it right or refund your order. Change-of-mind refunds are handled by our payment provider, Paddle, under their buyer terms. To request a refund, visit paddle.net or email hello@thebuildersbrief.co.uk and we'll help you get it sorted.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the site, your account or any download if: you breach these terms; payment fails or is reversed; we reasonably suspect fraud or a security risk; or you misuse the service. Where the issue is capable of being fixed, we will normally contact you first.

Limitation of liability

Our guidance is general in nature and is not a replacement for project-specific advice. To the fullest extent permitted by law we accept no liability for any indirect or consequential loss arising from reliance on the content of any download or article. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be limited under English law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

The Builder's Brief UK provides practical homeowner guidance based on real trade experience. It is not legal, financial, architectural, structural engineering, planning or building-control advice, and is not a replacement for project-specific guidance from suitably qualified professionals.
